What is the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?
Soft washing uses a specialised cleaning solution and low pressure to treat organic growth at its source. Pressure washing relies on water pressure and is reserved for durable hard surfaces such as concrete and suitable pavers.
Is soft washing safe for painted surfaces?
Low pressure minimises the risk of surface damage compared with high-pressure washing. We assess the condition and material first, then choose a suitable method.
What cleaning solution do you use?
Our soft washing process primarily uses a sodium hypochlorite-based solution, similar to concentrated pool chlorine, with specialised detergents where required. Treated surfaces are thoroughly rinsed.
Is soft washing safe around plants and pets?
We use controlled, industry-approved methods and take care around your property. Please keep pets away from the work area while cleaning is underway and tell us about any sensitive areas when requesting your quote.
How long do the results last?
Conditions vary by surface, shade, moisture and surrounding vegetation. Because soft washing treats mould, algae, moss and lichen rather than only blasting the surface, it provides a deeper, longer-lasting clean.
Do you service areas outside Christchurch?
Yes. We are based in Christchurch and service residential and commercial properties throughout Canterbury.
How much does exterior cleaning cost?

Do I need to be home?
Often exterior work can be completed without you at home, provided access and any site-specific details are arranged beforehand.
Will pure-water window cleaning leave streaks?
Deionised water dries without mineral residue, leaving exterior glass streak-free without chemicals on the glass. Our water-fed pole reaches up to five metres.
What happens if the weather changes?
Some weather conditions can affect safe, effective cleaning. If conditions are unsuitable, we will communicate with you and arrange an appropriate time.
